US President Donald Trump has referred to the Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Sumy, calling it a “mistake.”
Trump said, “I think it was terrible. I’ve been told they made a mistake. But I think it’s terrible,” he told reporters. When asked what he meant by saying Russia “made a mistake,” Trump replied: “I think it’s… listen, you ask them.”
Recall that 34 people were killed and 117 were injured in the Russian ballistic missile strike on the city of Sumy.
