Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev met on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Conference.
During the meeting, Turkey-Azerbaijan bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.
Erdogan noted that Turkey and Azerbaijan will continue developing cooperation in various fields, especially energy, transport, and defense.
Erdogan highly appreciated the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, emphasizing that Turkey wants to see Azerbaijan as an architect of peace in the South Caucasus, and added that Turkey is cautiously continuing the process of normalizing relations with Armenia.
