US President Donald Trump has sent a congratulatory letter to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the Nowruz holiday.
The letter also touched upon Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, highlighting the steps being taken towards peace.
“I appreciate Azerbaijan’s support and friendly relations with our partner Israel, and I welcome the steps that your country and Armenia are taking to establish peace in the region.
I look forward to working together as our countries rush towards success. The United States remains a consistent supporter of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity,” the letter states.
