Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has stated that Turkey has ties with both Iran and the United States.
“I spoke with the Iranian side before I left for the United States and after I returned. I conveyed to both sides their expectations. My advice is to start negotiations directly, without delay.”
He stressed that the region cannot afford another war, and military action against Iran would increase instability. “If the parties seize this opportunity, the problem can be resolved without force.”
