Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also addressed the forum attended by foreign experts about Azerbaijan's policy, Azerbaijani-Georgian relations, and Armenia.
"Azerbaijan has signed strategic partnership agreements with several countries, which has created an opportunity to form joint approaches between Central Asia and Europe in the geographical, political, economic, and transport spheres. It is obvious that Azerbaijan occupies a key position in the region, but some forces are trying to completely isolate it by drawing dividing lines in the South Caucasus. But this will not work," Aliyev said.
"If we look at Azerbaijani-Georgian relations, we will see that energy security, transport, investments, and political dialogue give positive results. Armenia itself, due to its aggression and occupation, was deprived of the opportunity to be a transit country. As a result, their real independence became difficult to achieve. They lived with the dream of a "Greater Armenia," he added.
