The United States and Iran are holding direct talks. On Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced that the two countries would hold almost the highest-level contacts.
According to him, the United States prefers to resolve the issue of Iran's nuclear developments through negotiations, which also corresponds to Tehran's interests. Trump also stated that he prefers to deal with Iran "rather than the other way around" and noted that Israel would also like to avoid escalation.
Trump added that if the talks with Iran fail, Iran, in his opinion, will face great danger.
