EU to develop response package to US tariffs

EU countries will try to take a united stance against US President Donald Trump’s tariffs in the coming days, approving the first retaliatory tariffs on up to $28 billion worth of US imports.

The European Commission will propose to its members late Monday a list of US products subject to additional tariffs in response to Trump’s steel and aluminum tariffs. The list includes US meat, cereals, wine, wood, clothing, chewing gum, dental floss, vacuum cleaners, and toilet paper.
