Israel bombed journalists' tent, there are casualties

Israel has carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, bombing a tent used by journalists near the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis. Al Jazeera reports. At least two people were killed, and seven others were injured in the strike.

The attacks resumed after Israeli forces killed more than 50 people and ordered residents of five central neighborhoods in the city of Deir el-Balah to evacuate their homes.

In addition, in the West Bank town of Turmus Ayya, Israeli soldiers opened fire on Palestinian teenagers. As a result, a 14-year-old Palestinian-American boy was killed, and two others were injured.

The Israeli military confirmed the attack, stating:
“During a counter-terrorism operation in the Turmus Ayya area, Israeli soldiers observed three terrorists throwing stones at the highway, endangering civilian traffic. The soldiers opened fire on the terrorists posing a threat, killing one and wounding two others.”

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry also responded to the incident, stating that the child’s killing was “a direct consequence of Israel’s continued impunity.”
