"Some guarantees of Ukraine's security may be acceptable." Dmitriev

Russian presidential spokesman Kirill Dmitriev has weighed in on security guarantees for Ukraine after talks at the White House. In an interview with Fox News, he said some security guarantees for Ukraine “may be acceptable.”

Dmitriev claimed that Ukraine had attacked Russian energy facilities but said the White House talks had had a positive outcome. According to him, the Kremlin may be open to some security guarantees for Kyiv.

“Some security guarantees in one form or another may be acceptable,” Dmitriev said, without specifying which ones he was talking about. At the same time, he categorically ruled out Ukraine joining NATO.
