Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are ready to negotiate a peaceful resolution to the conflict, US President Donald Trump said in a conversation with reporters on Air Force One.
According to the US leader, he recently talked to Zelensky, and "the conversation went well."
"I think we're making great progress. He (Zelensky) is ready to make a deal. And I think President Putin is also ready to make a deal, and then we will stop the killing of thousands of young people every week," Trump said.
