Lebanese President Condemns Israeli Attack on Beirut

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned Israel's attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, calling on international allies to support the country's right to "full sovereignty."

"Israel's insistence on continuing its aggression requires us to make greater efforts to reach out to Lebanon's friends around the world and unite them in defense of our right to full sovereignty over our land," Aoun said in a statement.

He called the attack a "dangerous warning" about intentions against Lebanon.

It is worth noting that Israeli forces bombed the Lebanese capital, Beirut, for the second time in a week, killing at least three people.
