An earthquake has struck Indonesia

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Indonesia, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) said.

The tremors were recorded 142 kilometers southwest of the Indonesian city of Wainapu, which has a population of about 48,000. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 28 kilometers.

There were no reports of possible casualties or damage.
