Starmer and Trump agree to keep up pressure on Putin

The UK Prime Minister's Office said that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke by phone with US President Donald Trump to update him on the outcome of the Coalition for Ukraine summit in Paris last week.

Trump began the call by wishing Britain's King Charles III good health.

"The leaders discussed the productive talks between their teams on the UK-US Economic Partnership Agreement. They agreed that these talks will continue at the same pace this week," Downing Street said.

"On Ukraine, the Prime Minister briefed the President on the productive discussions at the Coalition of the Willing in Paris this week. The leaders agreed to continue to apply joint pressure on Putin. They agreed to remain in touch in the coming days," the UK Prime Minister's Office said.
