The Russian Supreme Court will consider the Prosecutor General's Office's appeal in mid-April to lift the ban on the activities of the Taliban movement.
The court hearing is scheduled for April 17.
In December last year, Vladimir Putin signed a law that provided for the possibility of removing the Taliban movement from the list of terrorist organizations banned in Russia.
