At least 28 people killed in Myanmar and Thailand

The New York Times, citing hospital staff in Mandalay, near the earthquake's epicenter, reported 20 deaths. At least three people died in the partial collapse of a mosque in the Myanmar city of Taungoo.

Reuters reported at least two people were killed in the city of Aung San, where the earthquake destroyed a hotel building, and AFP reported three deaths in the collapse of a semi-finished building in Bangkok.
