US President Donald Trump has announced that the US administration will consider Russia's demands for a ceasefire in the Black Sea.
"There are about five or six conditions. We are considering all of them," he told reporters at the White House. As a result of talks in Saudi Arabia, the US agreed with Russia and Ukraine to stop strikes in the Black Sea and ensure safe shipping.
However, shortly after, Moscow announced that the provision on the safety of shipping would come into force only after some sanctions against Russia were lifted. Moscow's demands include the lifting of sanctions on Rosselkhozbank and fertilizer producers and exporters and the lifting of restrictions on Russian-flagged ships operating in ports related to the trade in food and fertilizers.
