“I would like to think that they listened to us very attentively. I can say that at the end of the whole day of negotiations, both sides began to get to know each other better and began to make more direct, unambiguous judgments,” Karasin said in an interview with the parliamentary newspaper, answering the question of whether the American side was open to understanding the Russian approaches to the conflict resolution.
The senator added that the expert group will continue to work under the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, new meetings are possible if additional issues are discussed, but there are currently no plans for them.
