US President Donald Trump suggested in an interview with Newsmax that Russia could delay the peace process with Ukraine: “I don’t know, but I’ll let you know in a while. I think Russia wants it to be over, although they may take some time,” Trump said.
The US president also shared his experience in such a situation: “I’ve done it over the years. I don’t want to make a deal; I want to stay in the game, but maybe I don’t want to do it all the way. But no, I think Russia would like it to be over, and I think Zelensky would like it to be over at this point,” the president emphasized.
