Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced that Iran will not hold direct talks with the United States under maximum pressure and threats. This is the country's clear policy. According to ISNA, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi spoke about this during a session held at the headquarters of the Iranian Red Crescent Society on the Nowruz holiday.
"We will not hold direct talks with the United States under the conditions of maximum pressure and threats, which are being made daily. This is our clear policy until the other side's approach towards Iran and the Iranian people changes," he said.
"We must continue our efforts to normalize relations between the United States and Iran. Of course, the way is open for indirect talks, and we can do this through various channels," he stressed.
