US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that the United States intends to ensure that Iran completely abandons its nuclear program.
"Iran must abandon its program in a way that the whole world can see. Otherwise, there will be consequences," Waltz said on CBS News.
"If Iran has nuclear weapons, the entire Middle East will be involved in an arms race," he stressed.
Mike Waltz also noted that the possibility of diplomacy between the two countries remains.
