"Washington and Kyiv will sign an agreement soon." Trump

US President Donald Trump expects a signed agreement with Ukraine on rare earth metals. The head of state told reporters that a deal had been reached with Kyiv.

According to him, Washington and Kyiv are now discussing issues of territory control and Ukrainian power plants. The parties agreed on jointly exploiting rare earth metals, essential minerals, and other natural resources.

The US delegation met with Ukrainian officials on Sunday and with the Russian delegation on Monday. The negotiations focused mainly on a ceasefire in the Black Sea, but Trump said other issues also arise.

"Now we are talking about territory. We are talking about demarcation lines and ownership of the power plant. Some people say that the power plant should belong to the United States because we have experience," he added.
