Louis Bono, the director of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the US State Department, wrote on his microblog X, which reads:
“The United States welcomes the cooperation between Armenia and Turkey to temporarily open the Margara-Alijan border crossing, which has enabled Armenia to provide humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people.
This demonstrates how cooperation in the South Caucasus benefits the entire region.”
