Ukrainian forces attacked the Suja gas metering station, located in the Suja district of the Kursk region, through which Russian gas was supplied to the European Union. The Mash and Baza Telegram channels reported this on Thursday evening, March 20.
According to Mash, a massive fire is visible from a distance of a dozen kilometers near the border with the Sumy region. The channel noted that this is the “largest transit corridor” for gas from the Russian Federation to Europe. The diameter of the gas pipeline is 1420 mm.
