US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview that President Trump would do everything possible to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons.
"The president has made it clear that he is prepared to do anything to prevent Iran from ever having nuclear weapons. He has been very clear on that. He is a president who seeks peace. If you asked him, he would say that he would prefer to resolve the issue diplomatically, without war," the Secretary of State said.
According to him, if other countries do not join this US initiative, the US will still take this step alone.
"A world where Iran and the ayatollahs, these religious fanatics, have nuclear weapons is unacceptable to us," Rubio emphasized.
