Iran to respond to Trump's letter soon

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iranian authorities will soon respond to US President Donald Trump's letter to Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"We will not hold any negotiations under increased pressure, threats, and sanctions. Negotiations must be conducted on equal terms. We will respond to Trump's letter in the coming days," he said.

Araghchi noted that Trump's letter "contains threats," but there are also "opportunities."

"We see both threats and opportunities," the diplomat emphasized.
