US President Donald Trump has announced that many elements of a peace agreement on Ukraine have been agreed upon with Russian President Vladimir Putin ahead of a phone call today.
On his Truth Social media account, Trump wrote: “Tomorrow (today) morning, I will be speaking with President Putin about the war in Ukraine. Many elements of a final agreement have been agreed upon, but there is still much to be done. Thousands of young soldiers and others are dying. Two thousand five hundred soldiers are dying every week on both sides, and this must stop immediately.
I look forward to speaking with President Putin.”
