The US Department of Defense does not comment on the Russian RT agency's publication of information about the possible transfer of military equipment to Armenia.
In response to the "Armenpress" question, the US Department of Defense said this.
"The United States highly values its relations with Armenia. The Department of Defense does not comment on the movements of military equipment, based on operational security considerations," the US Department of Defense said.
The Armenian Ministry of Defense has not yet given an official response.
Earlier, the Russian RT news agency published information that the US Army Logistics Command plans to transfer military equipment and various equipment from the German "Dülmen" military base to the "Zar" training ground in Armenia for possible Armenian-American military exercises.
According to the published data, the equipment transfer is scheduled from July 16 to August 7, and the return to Germany is scheduled from August 21 to September 20.
The equipment will be transported to Armenia through Georgia. Due to the complications of diplomatic permits, the route cannot pass through Russia, Turkey, or Azerbaijan.
