Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that Ukrainian troops are not surrounded in the Kursk region; the situation in the Pokrovsky direction has stabilized.
According to him, the units are performing tasks precisely as needed.
"The Russians are accumulating forces along the eastern border, which indicates a desire to strike the Sumy region. We understand this and will counter it," he noted.
