US President Donald Trump said he had a productive conversation with Russian President Putin yesterday.
"Yesterday, we had an excellent and productive conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. There is a very good chance that this terrible, bloody war can finally end.
But right now, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are surrounded by Russian soldiers and are in a challenging and vulnerable situation.
I have seriously asked President Putin to spare their lives. It could be a terrible massacre, the likes of which have not been seen since World War II. God bless everyone," Trump wrote on the Truth social network page.
