The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Mao Ning, stated that China welcomes the positive progress in the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“Armenia and Azerbaijan are important countries in the Transcaucasus region and good friends and partners of China. China sincerely hopes that the two countries can resolve their conflicts and differences through dialogue and consultation and contribute to sustainable peace, development, and prosperity in the region,” the representative of the Foreign Ministry stated during a press conference.
