Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin met with US Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
Witkoff had traveled to Moscow to relay the negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation to the Russian side.
“Putin sent information and new signals to US President Donald Trump through Witkoff,” Peskov said.
