Russia is in favor of a 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this.
“I agree with the proposal to stop the fighting in Ukraine, but it should lead to long-term peace.
I want to thank US President Trump for paying so much attention to resolving the conflict. Ukraine should ask the US to help with the ceasefire,” Putin said.
According to him, Russia wants guarantees that during the 30-day ceasefire, Ukraine will not mobilize, will not prepare, and will not receive weapons.
Putin also stated that if the US and Russia agree on energy cooperation, a gas pipeline can be provided for Europe, which will receive affordable gas.
