Russia does not want a temporary ceasefire; it is interested in a long-term settlement, as the Russian President’s aide for foreign policy, Yuri Ushakov, stated today.
“A temporary ceasefire is far from a long-term settlement that considers Russia’s interests,” the presidential aide noted, adding, “Nobody needs an imitation of peace.”
According to him, the proposed temporary ceasefire in Ukraine is a temporary rest for the Ukrainian military.
In an interview with Olga Skabeeva, Ushakov said that Mike Waltz called him yesterday and told him about the agreements with Kyiv.
