The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has stated the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“We note with satisfaction that negotiations on the draft text of the agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia have been completed.
We reaffirm Azerbaijan’s long-standing and principled position that amending the RA Constitution to eliminate claims to Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is a necessary precondition for signing the agreed text.
We are ready to continue bilateral dialogue on these and other issues related to normalizing relations between the two countries,” the statement said.
