Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi Arabia and issued a statement afterward.
"I had a good meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. Thank you for your wise view of the international situation and support for Ukraine. It was essential to hear words of confidence in the future of Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelensky's statement said.
He added that he had discussed the steps and conditions to end the war with the Saudi prince and make peace reliable and lasting.
The Ukrainian delegation also arrived in Saudi Arabia in the morning. Zelensky's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, reported this, adding that the Ukrainian team is preparing for a meeting with American colleagues.
"The team is in place. Getting ready for work. "Protecting Ukraine's interests, a clear vision of ending the war, we will work effectively with our American partners," he wrote on Telegram.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is also already in Saudi Arabia.
"Implementing Donald Trump's vision of peace through force is vital," Rubio wrote after arriving in Saudi Arabia.
He also met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
