US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox Business Network that he wants to negotiate directly with Iran over the nuclear deal and that he had already sent a letter to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei yesterday.
The president said during the interview that his position has not changed and that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.
"If Iran does not negotiate, it will be ugly for them. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. There are other options available," Trump said.
"I think they wanted to get that letter. The other alternative is that we have to do something because you cannot allow another nuclear weapon," he stressed.
