I believe in Putin's intention to achieve peace. US President Donald Trump stated at the White House that dealing with Ukraine is more difficult than dealing with Russia.
He also noted that Washington's continued support for Kyiv would depend on Ukraine's position on peace negotiations.
"European countries have no idea how to end the conflict in Ukraine," the US president noted.
Referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin, he noted: "Putin did not want to start a conflict in Ukraine" and added that they have good relations with Russia.
