French President Emmanuel Macron has hit back at Russia's response to his previous statements.
Recall that he called Moscow an existential threat to Europe, while the Russian side compared him to Napoleon and Hitler.
"Today, I see only one imperialist power in Europe: Russia," Macron said, calling Vladimir Putin "an imperialist who seeks to rewrite history."
According to Macron, the Kremlin was clearly "stung" by the revelation of their game. He noted that Russia reacted in this way to his speech, in which he warned that Russian aggression "knows no borders" because it was true.
