The authoritative British newspaper The Guardian reports that the United Kingdom will continue to share intelligence with Ukraine. However, London and other European countries will offer much more limited opportunities than the United States.
The United Kingdom will also continue analyzing raw data; it simply will not transfer US information obtained through long-established exchange agreements between the two countries.
It should be noted that France publicly announced yesterday that it will continue to provide intelligence information to Ukraine. The country's armed forces minister, Sébastien Lecornu, said that while the US decision would have "significant operational implications," Paris would continue to help through its "sovereign intelligence."
The French minister said the UK's position was "more complex" because its intelligence apparatus was more closely linked to Washington, although British sources stressed that there was a long history of competition and cooperation between the UK and the US.
