US President Donald Trump has said that both Ukraine and Russia want to make a deal. He announced the Oval Office during a meeting with reporters.
Trump also shared his thoughts on the prospects for negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
"I think Ukraine wants to make a deal because they have no choice. I think Russia wants to make a deal because in some way, in another sense that only I know, they have no choice either," Trump said.
The US president, however, did not elaborate on what he was talking about.
