The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, announced the new initiative today ahead of an emergency summit.
According to her, decision-making is becoming increasingly difficult for the bloc due to obstacles to Hungary's decisions on aid to Ukraine.
"That is why we have a new initiative to form a majority coalition, which ensures that one country cannot block everyone," the EU High Representative stressed.
