German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected the prospect of a “forced peace” in Ukraine in Brussels today amid a rapprochement between the United States and Russia.
“It is essential that we make sure that Ukraine does not have to accept a forced peace and that it is a just and equitable peace that guarantees the country’s sovereignty and independence,” he said.
