US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday reiterated his call for an end to the conflict in Ukraine, saying it is a proxy war between the US and Russia. Rubio spoke about this on Fox News.
“Frankly, this is a proxy war between nuclear powers, the US, which is helping Ukraine, and Russia, and this has to stop,” he said.
Rubio insisted that providing aid to Ukraine “as much as they need and as long as it takes” is not a strategy and that no one has a concrete plan for resolving the war.
