I am grateful to French President Emmanuel Macron for his clear vision and joint efforts to achieve peace. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote about this on social networks.
Zelensky writes, “Peace must be real, not just a word; it cannot mean the capitulation or disintegration of Ukraine.”
“It must be fair, reliable, and long-term, and this can only be achieved with strong and long-term security guarantees for Ukraine, Europe, and the whole world. We greatly appreciate the leadership and efforts of all those who support Ukraine and strengthen Europe’s defense capabilities. We look forward to working together in the coming days to take steps towards peace,” Volodymyr Zelensky noted.
