Macron, Zelensky, and Starmer may visit Washington

The French government has confirmed that Macron, Zelensky, and Starmer could visit Washington shortly.

“The possibility is being considered that President Macron could return to Washington with President Zelensky and his British counterpart,” said French government spokeswoman Sophie Primas.

When reporters asked her to clarify when this would happen, she replied that she had no exact information, but she expected the leaders to visit Washington in the near future, and, in her opinion, France would make an offer for a meeting.

The Daily Mail wrote about this earlier, noting that London was also “persuading Washington at all levels” to continue supporting Ukraine.

A representative of the Elysee Palace said that Macron is not currently planning to visit Washington.
