CBS News cites its sources as reporting that the terms of the mineral agreement between Ukraine and the United States may change, as US President Donald Trump now wants to "sign a more favorable deal."
It is noted that although Ukraine has made it clear to the United States that it is ready to sign the agreement, as long as the American side states that the deal is not completed.
The magazine cited the words of US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant as evidence. When reporters asked whether the agreement was valid, the official replied, "Not yet."
"Several sources have reported that the agreement is not yet finalized, and its terms may change, as President Trump is now seeking a better and more favorable deal," the magazine writes, citing an interlocutor familiar with the details.
