The US President delivered a message to Congress. According to Reuters, Trump's message was a record-breaking 1 hour and 40 minutes long.
Trump said that this morning he received a "significant letter" from Ukrainian President Zelensky, expressing his willingness to sign an agreement on mineral resources and security.
"I appreciate that he sent this letter. At the same time, we have been conducting serious negotiations with Russia and have received clear signals that they are also ready for peace," Trump said.
