Trump suspends military aid to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has ordered a temporary suspension of military aid to Ukraine until Kyiv demonstrates its "commitment to peace," according to several reputable international media outlets, including Reuters, APnews, BBC, The Guardian, and others.

This came after Trump had a heated argument with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House's Oval Office.

"President Trump has made it clear that he is focused on peace. We need our partners to be committed to that goal. We are suspending and reviewing our assistance to ensure it contributes to resolving the problem," a White House official said, as quoted by various reputable media outlets.

Trump himself has not commented on this decision, and the White House has not yet issued an official statement.

When reporters asked him on Monday whether he planned to suspend military aid to Ukraine, Trump replied, "We'll see what happens next."
