US President Donald Trump will meet today with his top national security aides, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
As The New York Times writes, a Trump administration representative said that the meeting is planned to discuss and possibly take action on several policy options related to Ukraine.
“They include suspending or canceling American military aid to Ukraine, including recent deliveries of weapons and equipment that were approved and paid for under President Joe Biden,” the newspaper writes.
As the NYT recalls, Zelensky received gestures of support from 18 leaders at a meeting in London.
“However, behind this show of solidarity was an admission that maintaining support from the United States remains important,” the newspaper emphasizes.
