Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said the United Kingdom and Italy can play a key role in building bridges during a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer ahead of a defense summit in London.
The Italian leader said it was crucial to avoid the risk of dividing the West.
“That is why I believe that the United Kingdom and Italy can play a key role in building bridges,” Meloni said.
She also said she wanted to see a lasting peace in Ukraine.
